TAUZIA Equal Chance consistently provides education support to underprivileged children
Jakarta, December 22, 2017 - After celebrating the 15th anniversary of HARRIS Hotels through the HARRIS Day Fun Bike Fest event in 5 cities simultaneously in Indonesia on December 10th, the results of the ticket sales were then donated to CSR program from TAUZIA Hotels namely TAUZIA Equal Chance at a total of 111 million rupiah.
TAUZIA Equal Chance is a program that has been started since 2013 with the aim in providing education framework for underprivileged children and fully supported by all hotels in TAUZIA Hotels network. Each hotel provides sponsorship for some children with a total number of children currently at 227 people.
Collaborating with ISCO (Indonesian Street Children Organization) as a strategic partner to assist TAUZIA Hotels to support educational activities such as studios for after school facilities, nutritional supplement and learning assistance programs as well as protection of children's rights.
"In TAUZIA we believe that people are our most important asset, therefore we believe that education will provide a brighter future for children supported by TAUZIA Equal Chance program," said Katrin Novatio, CSR Manager of TAUZIA Hotels.
Hotel guests are also given the opportunity to contribute through TAUZIA Equal Chance by the sale of attractive merchandise or hotel packages and other programs such as TAUZIA Car Free Day event, TAUZIA Office to Office etc.
"We also provide opportunities for children to know hospitality world through Hotel Visits Program regularly, wherein when they graduate they will have the opportunity to work in our hotel network," concluded Katrin.
